A child is diagnosed with cancer every three minutes – that is why Wahl Clipper is challenging the Kappa Sigma Fraternity & residents of Brooklyn to Get Buzzed… for good.  Together they’ll raise funds for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and childhood cancer research. The event will be held March 14 at 200 Fifth Restaurant & Sports Bar, featuring head-shaving, entertainment and the chance to hear from local New York families impacted by cancer. Maryland's police officers and firefighters who died in the line of duty, during the past year, will be honored at the 30th annual Fallen Heroes Day Ceremony--the only statewide ceremony in the nation that brings together all segments of the public safety community. The annual observance at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens salutes police and correctional officers, firefighters, emergency medical and rescue personnel who risk their lives to protect the citizens of Maryland and honors those who have died.

The event will be divided into four one-hour sessions between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization.
