2010 Symphony of Lights-This family-oriented spectacular is a dazzling, 20-minute, drive-through display of more than 70 larger-than-life animated and stationary holiday light creations, made up of 250,000 bulbs.

A Night at The Yards will raise critical funds for Living Classrooms of the National Capital Region programming. This event will also celebrate and support Living Classrooms’ Discovery Creek Summer Programs and City Kids Wilderness Project.

Chimes International is a not-for-profit human service provider that has been a leader in providing education, services, support, and employment for citizens with disabilities since 1947. Chimes will be celebrating its past, present and future with this gala. Special honor will be given to Terry Allen Perl for 40 years of commitment, leadership and innovative services for people with disabilities. The musical group The Spinners will be featured at the event.

The Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is proud to announce its 18th Annual Race for the Cure. As Komen Maryland’s largest fundraiser, 75% of funds raised will go to local programs that offer a comprehensive range of breast health service, from screening and treatment to support services, across the state of Maryland. The remaining 25% will be distributed at a national level to support Komen for the Cure’s mission to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find a cure.

Guest bartenders from fashion and media companies, including La Force + Stevens and Barneys New York will bartend, giving up 50% of their tips to benefit Housing Works. La Superior will provide the food while Housing Works takes over the hotel lobby for a curated pop-up sale.
