Comedian, actress, writer and television producer SUSIE ESSMAN, will appear LIVE AND UNSCRIPTED at the 9th Annual Night of the Stars at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation. She’s blown us away as the strong-willed Susie Greene in HBO’s long running series “CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM.” She made us laugh on comedy central’s “BROAD CITY” as Bobbi Wexler who lives on Long Island and loves high quality knock-off handbags. The event will benefit BHC’s Youth Programs.  The doors to the theater open at 7:30 PM.

Show Your Soft Side (SYSS) and Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) will hold the seventh annual Pawject Runway, presented by Pet Valu, on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Royal Farms Arena. The fashion show features “Softies,” animal-loving professional athletes, entertainers and activists, who will strut their stuff on the runway “modeling” a range of adorable and adoptable dogs and cats in need of a home from BARCS.

Help homeless veterans and other veterans in need by signing up for these open, timed races through the heart of downtown Baltimore. On-site registration will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 a.m. Following warm-up exercises, conducted by Back on My Feet (BoMF) Baltimore, the 5K race takes off at 7:30, followed by the 10K at 8:30.
