Thomas Doxanas and his partner Tony opened the first Double T Diner opened in 1959 in Catonsville at the intersection of Route 40 and Rolling Road. The Napolas brothers (Nick and Angelo) ran the business which was known for its extensive menu and 24-hour operation. In 1987, John, Tom and Louie Korologos bought the diner and expanded the Double franchise.
