The Festival of Trees is an annual holiday-themed family event that benefits Kennedy Krieger Institute. The focal point of the event is the display and sale of more than 800 spectacular holiday trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses created by local designers, artists, florists, individuals, schools and community groups. Additional attractions include live holiday entertainment, and seasonal merchants. One of the event’s most popular areas is SantaLand, an indoor carnival-style experience for children featuring crafts, games and Santa visits, and pony, carousel and train rides.

The National Aquarium’s Marjorie Lynn Bank Lecture Series in partnership with the International Ocean Film Festival will present a series of short films. For the first time, the International Ocean Film Festival, dedicated to saving the ocean one film at a time, will be traveling to the East Coast. At this event, guests will view a special program of six films that emphasize not only the challenges on this blue planet, but also the solutions and the people taking action.
