Boasted as the largest collection of significant artifacts from China ever to travel to the United States, highlights of the Terra Cotta Warriors Exhibit at the National Geographic Museum include 15 life-size figures, weapons, armor, and coins. Visitors can literally stand face-to-face with these awe-inspiring pieces of Chinese history that are over 2,000 years old. Luckily for Washington, DC and the surrounding areas, there is plenty of opportunity to view these masterpieces since the exhibition runs until March 21, 2010. The museum's hours are 10am-6pm daily. Wednesday hours run late until 9pm, and Wednesday's are FREE!!! Seeing these majestic and mysterious Terra Cotta Warriors is a must-do event this season.
