Baltimore Live Jazz\: Jeff Reed\, Acoustic Bass-Jeff Reed is an acoustic bassist\, composer\, and educator who primarily performs and records as a sideman for various groups in the Baltimore – Washington D.C. area. He will be performing live as part of the weekly jazz series at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys. As an acoustic bass artist\, Jeff has played in almost every major Baltimore and D.C. jazz venue. Due to the versatility and respect he has gained as a musician\, Jeff has performed extensively throughout the east coast and in over 20 countries worldwide\, including Italy\, Spain\, Egypt\, Turkey and Bahrain. In his travels\, he has shared the stage with musicians such as Billy Hart\, Eddie Henderson\, Paquito D’Rivera\, John Hicks\, Bunky Green\, Larry Willis\, Ronnie Mathews\, Gary Thomas\, and George Colligan. The Thursday night music performance is free and open to the public and is from 6-9 p.m. Free covered parking at the Radisson Hotel at Cross Keys is an ideal feature of this music location and the bar has a drink to satisfy any craving. The Crossroads Lounge serves fine wines\, local brews\, and specialty cocktails with happy hour pricing from 4-7 p.m.
