How is this Italian restaurants compare to those found in Chicago area asphaltene

I love Italian food especially when its really authentic and healthy tech comm

This is comfort food for me. Italian food with all the cheese and sometimes the wine which goes with it makes me drool for more. I see that everyone who has commented has only good things to say about the patio dining sets and feel of the restaurant. It also seems to be a laid back place where you can go chill with friends or go out for a business meeting without making it too formal. I wish you had also given some suggestions of the must tries.

The waitstaff is attentive and superb in describing the delicious menu Wine is served with some wonderful Italian Bread and oils. Conversation and great food that has given a lasting memories that are still talked about.
With Nino and Ches there to greet and serve up some great drinks and food you will have such great memories you will return often.

Had a wonderful business dinner last night! Food was outstanding and service was top notch. This restaurant definitely gets very high marks. I would recommend it highly!

When you go your gotta try the grilled Caesar and the espresso martini by Stacy. They say there are over 10 special ingredients. Truly a authentic Italian experience. Chef Nino always is around to greet guests. Plus check in on http://foursquare.com!

Headed to La Scalla for dinner. I had only been there one time before, but was instantly impressed by the great food, atmosphere, and foremost the hospitality. Chef Nino, Chesley, and crew instantly make you feel at home and welcome you in as family. I had a lightly breaded mozzarella stuffed with pancetta for an appetizer; the others in my party had a grilled Caesar. For a main course I had the Alla Parmigiana, and my friends had a Lobster & Crabmeat penne special, and the Penne al Ragu. Everything was fantastic as was the Limóncello digestivo. I cant wait to go back, and can recommend it to anyone knowing they will have a fabulous meal and be treated like family.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is out of this world- always delicious, creative, and I've definitely never left hungry. The service is great and it just has such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I recently tried the Veal Baltimore for the first time, and WOW. I very highly recommend it! Great job to Nino and the gang.

I have been coming here for years and am STILL impressed every time. Delicious food, amazing service, and you really feel at home. Nino comes by to check on all the tables and always puts out the most spectacular dishes you can imagine. Love the grilled caesar and mama's cannolis! Definitely a spot not to miss!

Great post! LaScala truly has an authentic Italian menu, straight from Italy! Love the bruschetta and don't forget the espresso martinis, after dinner. Sometimes I CRAVE them!

We love to get the terrific grilled caesar salad and mama comes home from Italy to make cannolis in season. This is a comfortable great Baltimore Little Italy Restaurant.
