Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to mark the end of your chocolate indulgence! Let the love linger at The Science of Chocolate: Cocoa-ology, Thursday, February 23 at the Maryland Science Center. Join Larry McGlinchey, chocolatier and owner of Cacao Lorenzo, for chocolate specialties including truffles and bon bons paired with wines and liqueurs. Sample a variety of different chocolate styles, and learn scientific and fun chocolate facts.
The Science of Chocolate: Cocoa-ology includes an interactive presentation exploring the origins of chocolate and chocolate production, and insight into the elements to consider when linking chocolate and wine or liqueur.
Tickets are $45 per person ($40 for Maryland Science Center members) and includes the chocolates and paired beverages. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the presentation will run from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, leaving time to mingle before and after. These events are very popular and sell out fast. Call 410-545-5980 to reserve seats.
