New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest party nights of the year, but most importantly it’s one of the most memorable events of the year. From the moment you wake up on New Year’s Eve, there’s only one thing that’s running through your mind, your night. Some like to spend it at intimate parties, others like the hotel rooftops with the city skyline. But the best choice for spending an alternative New Year’s Eve is aboard a yacht. This year the Jewel Yacht is hosting a New Year’s Eve event that’s been the hype around NYC.

Considered one of the most popular yachts in the Northeast for events, the Jewel Yacht will feature a 3-hour open bar, music by one of NYC’s most in demand DJs and a fireworks display! This all-ages family event is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to spend the most memorable night of the year together on one of the most talked about vessels in the Northeast. Tickets are currently on sale for the Jewel Yacht New Year’s Eve event, and we suggest getting them while they last.

New Year's Cruise Catastrophe

I was on your New Year’s cruise and I wanted to express my severe disappointment with the entire evening. First of all, our tickets said the cruise was from 8:00pm until 1:00am. We stood outside for about two hours until the boat finally boarded at 10:00pm. The staff that was helping board the passengers was very rude. Finally, after we got onto the boat, we found out that only those who purchased VIP tickets had tables downstairs, and the rest of us who bought general admission tickets had to either stand or stay up in the upstairs part of the boat which was freezing. When we bought the tickets, it didn’t say anywhere online that you would not have a table or even a chair downstairs in the heat. I shouldn’t have had to pay $136.00 per ticket to be cold and to be treated so poorly. The staff on the boat was also very unhelpful. When noticing my party’s discomfort with the cold and wind, she said she would go see if there was anything she could do, and that she would be back up to let us know. We never saw her come up to the upper level of the boat, but we did see her eating by the bar, quite a few times. It’s funny how the staff got treated better than those of us who paid money to be treated awfully. I would have had a better time in my hotel room being warm. I know that I, nor anybody that I know, will return to take a cruise on this yacht for any reason. We paid too much money for the kind of experience we received.
