This place is actually very disappointing. Small plates with big prices. The food was marginal (at best) and definitely NOT worth the money. I will not go here again, nor will I encourage anyone else to go here.

The name screams Italian

The name screams Italian loud and clear. I would have been shocked if the owners were not Italian. But some of the comments are a little upsetting and I wonder what makes the staff think that they can pout and be grumpy and get away with that? There are a few good things mentioned but I guess people will definitely forgo that if I am not treated right when I am paying money for it.ice machines

vino rosina

had a super time; wine list was expansive and not really expensive, nice for that neighborhood.
food was excellent, has the lamb with garlic bread pudding, cooked medium/med-rare as i asked.
also loved the fois gras. we had cheeses for dessert and loved it. will be back soon for happy hour.

Burger - YES PLEASE!

Had a great experience at Vino Rosina last week. Went on a Monday night, so it wasn't massively busy, however there was plenty of life in there, which was nice. It was a calm atmosphere, loved the design of the space and the SQUARE shaped bar was a nice change from the linear bars you see in so many restaurants/bars throughout this city. Because of that we always knew where our attending bartender was making it easy to get her attention. Food was great, small tasty portions try the torte! But even better was the outstanding burger! Pork, Beef, Bison, and Lamb were mixed together, and thoroughly cooked, topped with what I think was gorgonzola cheese on a nice soft roll, it was so good, I highly recommend it. I imagine it's really busy in there on the weekends, if you don't like crowds go on a weekend night instead. Beer and Wine selections are also plentiful!

BEST mac and cheese!!!

BEST mac and cheese!!!

What great food!

My husband and I along with another couple dined at Vino Rosina this past Saturday. Our service was not the best BUT the food was amazing. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and a couple entree's to split and we were all pleased with the results. The duck carpaccio was outstanding along with the Cassoulet which was unbelievable. Even the lasagna with rabbit and goat cheese was amazing. Even though we weren't impressed with the overall service, I would definitely go back and enjoy the fantastic food we had. Way to go Jesse!

Vino Rosina Cheese Classes

We are loooking forward to the new monthly cheese classes at Vino Rosina--hoping Vino is paired with the cheese. Hoping it is excellent! Cheers!

Needs improvement!

Arrived at Vino & immediately became annoyed at the lack of parking. The restaurant is beautiful - hip & cool as stated. The wine menu is extensive, and there was an array of speciality infused vodkas. We enjoyed the bar very much. The dinner was mediocre at best & prepared in a more unhealthy way than it needs to be. The olive hummus however was a winner. The server was ambivalent and intrusive. This restaurant has a great concept, but management should be training the staff to smile & be kind to the customers. In this economy, where spending money to eat out is limited - why would anyone CHOOSE to eat at a restaurant that does not care about its customer?

Bad expereince in Baltimore wine bar

Wow Cdevlin-that is AWFUL-can we try and help you in anyway? Just not what anyone would expect in 1. hospitality and 2 this economy!

Voilently ill!

First of all the bartenders seemed annoyed that we were interrupting their conversation. Our server was even a bit condecending when my date had questions about the wine list. We ordered the mussels in Sambucca which is not only a bad idea but made us both violently sick the next day. In addition the lamb steak was chewy and bland. When I called the restaurant the next day their response to the food poisoning from the manager was lame at best. When I called again the response was downright rude. I paid $115 for appetizers, one entree and drinks. In return I spent the next day heaving. Avoid this restaurant!

Wouldve given better rating

Went with a few friends to try out this on recommendation of my boss. Food was great, wine was fantastic, but service was just plain slow. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other then serving customers. Its nice that everyone is such good buddies but I sat with an empty wine glass for like 15 minutes. Wait staff seemed bored when they did serve. Bar seemed overwhelmed. I would go back in a few months after theyve ironed out the kinks.

Sooooo glad to have another wine bar in B-more. The county really should take a lesson from the city on this!

awesome new wine bar led by Sommelier Olivia Boru and General manager Tiffany Halemau, cuisine by hometown fave Chef Jesse Sandlin. an eclectic menu awaits you of small plates $15 and under. do try the chicken liver mousse, bison tartare, and a plethora of other expertly prepared offerings. The wine list reflects Boru's expertise. Glad to have this new gem in HarborEast!
