The Prime Rib-Baltimore Steakhouse-Designed by brothers Buzz and Nick BeLer to evoke the elegant supper clubs of 1940's Manhattan, The Prime Rib Restaurant opened in Baltimore, Md. in 1965.
The Prime Rib quickly became a favorite destination. Our menu of prime meats, fresh seafood and thick chops was as appealing to diners in the 1960's as it is today. Everything about The Prime Rib, from our tuxedoed waitstaff, top quality food, and live piano and bass music nightly was intended to make every occasion feel like a special one. "Dazzling this town with tender, aged steaks and pampering service since 1965" says The Baltimore Sun.
In 1976 our second location in Washington D.C. soon established itself as the top power spot in the Nation's Capital. "Hundreds of heavy-hitters and hearty eaters say this tried-and-true, clubby K Street mainstay has the 'best beef' and the 'freshest seafood' in town" sums up DC's Zagat Survey.
Our third location opened in Philadelphia's historic Warwick Hotel in 1997. Just a block from fashionable Rittenhouse Square, it also garnered top honors including "Best Steak" from Philadelphia Magazine. The Philadelphia Inquirer invites its readers to "step back into the era of the supper club, where leopard-print carpeting, live jazz, stiff cocktails and comfy leather chairs offer the ideal retro setting."

The Prime Rib is a treat
If you want excellent service (only male waitstaff), food cooked to perfection (a la carte) and the feel of an old time supper club-The PRime Rib in Baltimore, DC or Philadelphia is sure to please. Also the crabcakes are the REAL deal! Get your prime rib "english cut" -nicely sliced in lieu of a great big slab. Oh my, what a treat!

Classic, perfect presentation and dry aged to perfection
The Prime Rib Baltimore-For my Birthday I wanted a classic old school steakhouse and after reading the reviews on Citypeek I decided to go with friends to the Baltimore Th Prime Rib. The FOH staff was great, the wine list showed a great spectrum of wine and was reasonably priced. The 16 oz Dry Aged Sirloin was aged, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides were perfect for steak lovers. Thanks for the Rec Citypeek! Great company and amazing food, what could be better.
