Went to Pizzazz and vegan'd out! My date and I had a great meal with hummus platter, pizza with gluten-free crust, yummy italian sodas (non high fruct corn syrup) and live music to boot! The food was great, the servers were pleasant, and the service got them 4 stars. Looking forward to giving them 5 for our next experience.

Amazing gluten-free pizza - with a thin, crispy crust - thought I was in heaven! It was so nice to have choices of so many delicious sounding dishes - all available gluten-free. We sat outside and people-watched in between courses, definitely an enjoyable evening.

For vegans, vegetarians and foodies alike, there is a place downtown that you need to check out. When you can’t get a reservation at Woodberry Kitchen and are yearning for some delicious, healthy and organic food, Pizzazz at the Pier 5 Hotel is the place for you.

When I go out to dinner, I don’t want to throw out everything that matters to me about healthy eating. I look at the appetizers as a chance to taste a few things on the menu that look great and plan the rest of my meal around that. We all started with the mussels fra Diavlo, which was fantastic. We also shared the caprese salad and the hummus platter. For those with smaller appetites, they have great salads and pizzas to share.

So many people are challenged with a restaurant menu and if you have a food sensitivity, that can be even more difficult. More and more people are discovering that they have Gluten and dairy intolerances. Pizzazz has a great variety of pizza crusts that even the Gluten-free customer can enjoy. We tried their gluten-free crust on the Rustica pizza and the crust was crunchy and delicious. I would recommend it even if you don’t have issues with gluten. It was that good.

I must mention that we also tried the seafood risotto, which was wonderful. They have a great atmosphere and friendly service; the wine is great, too.

For my clients who like to go out to dine and are trying to eat healthy and stay on track, I am sending everyone to Pizzazz. You can still eat organic foods that are free of preservatives, antibiotics and additives, for a healthy AND delicious night out.

Ps, they serve lunch, too.

Pizzazz This restaurant has a locally owned and operated feel, quality ingredients and fresh, delicious food. Something for every budget and most palates. Vegetarian, organic, gluten allergies, but not too "granola" feeling, no offense tree-huggers. My only hang up was the inexperienced bartender, but we were all beginners at one point, so hopefully he'll catch on. :-) Great casual dining spot with a date or friends!

Pizzazz's food and service are excellent. The food is so fresh and the people were so friendly. We live in Chicago and we were on our family vacation and just came across this wonderful resturant. It was one of our highlights of our vacation. Thank you for the great experience and delicous food.
