I'm associated with
I'm associated with restaurant supplies and for that reason I need to deal with various restaurants. Langermann's Canton Restaurant is one of our clients. From my personal experience I can say that it is a quality and appreciated place for dinning. Their quality food and services will surely bring you back to them.

Restaurant Week
My husband and I recently when here for breakfast and then again the next week for restaurant week. The food is phenomenal!!! The scallops were amazing beyond belief and the steak was amazing. As for the breakfast? Best grits I have ever had in my life. Complimentary mimosas were great!! My husband said he had never had pancakes like that. Always 5 stars!!

Amazing Southern Food
My husband and I decided to go here for my birthday after reading a review of the restaurant in the Baltimore magazine, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food is a twist on traditional southern food. I had the scallops, which were accented by a sauce that was amazing. The server really knew what he was talking about and knew everything on the menu when we had a question. You can really taste the freshness in the food, and chefs always willing to sub something off of your dish if you would like. I would highly recommend this restaurant and suggest you try and go early in the evening before the bar next door (Field House?) gets too packed and too loud.

Langermann's Valentine Brunch
Complimentary mimosas to start! Menu items ranged from biscuit battered french toast to the smoked salmon scrambler. We chose the house burger, and Eggs Yucatan (Spicy Sausage Patties Topped with Poached Eggs and Hollandaise Sauce atop Toasted English Muffin) with a side of cheesy grits - Yum! Simple, good ingredients prepared well. The only thing missing was the Old Bay we requested for the Bloody Mary - which, by the way, was quickly forgotten with the arrival of the (also complementary) chocolate covered strawberries and beignets which topped off our meal. Add coffee, and a nice chat with the manager and our morning was complete.

angermann's in the Can Company in Canton
So, I asked CityPeek Patti where to go for Valentine's Day Brunch and she suggested L. As we had already heard good things from others, we thought it would be easy to walk down and give it a try on Valentine's Day. Good choice! At first glance, the over-sized, open room greeted us with a modern, but approachable vibe. As we nestled into a comfortable and romantic corner banquette, we were welcomed by our server Joe, who, to my delight, had 2 complimentary mimosas in hand! (Reg. price $7 each) As we perused the menu, which which also had a modern, yet approachable design, I was happy to see a brief, but delicious selection. I'm not a fan of restaurants that offer 100 items. I'd rather see 8 dishes prepared perfectly than 25 mediocre meals. Items ranged from biscuit battered french toast to the smoked salmon scrambler. Not feeling breakfast I chose house burger, while the boyfriend opted for the delicious sounding Eggs Yucatan (Spicy Sausage Patties Topped with Poached Eggs and Hollandaise Sauce atop Toasted English Muffin.) Yum! While we were waiting for our meal I inquired about the design of the menu (being a graphic designer, when I see something I like I can't help myself.) That's when we met Mark. (I think I got his name correctly, but not planning in advance to write this entry I didn't take notes or photos.) Guessing he was an owner, we chatted for about solid 10 minutes about the design, intent of the restaurant, menu contents, the neighborhood, etc. He was friendly and knowledgeable and a great self-promoter without being remotely arrogant. The end result of the conversation being my desire to return for dinner without having tasted brunch yet. So, back to the food. Not much to say except it was delicious. Simple, good ingredients prepared well. The only thing missing was the Old Bay we requested for the Bloody Mary - I'd say one very minor misstep in our otherwise very satisfying experience. Which, by the way, was quickly forgotten with the arrival of the (also complementary) chocolate covered strawberries and beignets which topped off our meal. Add coffee, and our morning was complete. I would definitely recommended everyone give this place a try and we look forward to dinner soon. Can't wait to see if it's as tasty as brunch.
PS: Don't forget to try the yummy cheesy grits!! A welcome relief from the traditional home fries (also available.)

Langermann's Restaurant rocks Canton
We were very excited to find Langermann's to watch the Ravens playoffs game in. the staff was very friendly and Chef Neil Langermann even made special wings for us in addition to his signature. Langermann's should do so well in the former Kiss Cafe spot!
