Young Foodie becomes a Blogger for his Generation-CITYPEEK Hired, Kid Desired!

Eli Knauer is 10 years old, and started his blog, Adventures of a Koodie, because he loves to eat! CITYPEEK Patti had the pleasure of sitting down with him as he enjoyed a VIP Kids Experience at Phillips Seafood Restaurants' Harborplace location. This was our introduction to welcome Eli to the CITYPEEK family. We have been asked countless times to cover more kid favorites, so welcome our new Kiddie Peek Blogger, Mr. Eli Knauer (10 years old). Connect with eli@citypeek.com via email. Tell him what you think and where he should visit in the Baltimore-DC corridor.

We kept the article just as he wrote it, fyi.:

I was invited to go to Phillips Seafood in Baltimore. My dad went there when he was a little kid and he remembers there was always a long line. I was told that the restaurant will be moving to a new location soon but I don't know where it is moving.

When I got there,it started to rain,so my,mom,my brother Owen,my sister Olivia, and me ran into the mall where Phillips was connected while my dad looked for a place to park. When we got inside, there where shop's everywhere! When we got to Phillips, we were seated right away. It was still storming out. But what was really cool was that we where sitting in a tent outside,so we could actually see the storm.

A nice waitress came and gave us the menu and me, Owen, and Olivia kids menus. They had lots of activities on the kids menu like a pirate maze and a hidden picture. On it were Hamburger Slider, Macaroni N cheese, 6" cheese pizza and even fried shrimp!

I wanted the cheese pizza, but my mom and dad said I should get something for my appetizer. I did agree with the calamari, which is fried squid, but my mom and dad convinced me to get the lobster bisque and my dad got the cream of crab soup for me to try. Some kid's may not like calamari because I made the mistake of saying it was fried squid, but it is really good. It tastes like fish sticks. And if you still don't believe me,they have sauce for you to dip it in,which changes the flavor. When I got it, it was delicious! It was chewy and crunchy.

The Lobster bisque was a little spicy, but the cream of crab soup was delightful! It was a while before I got my pizza, but when I got it, I had never seen a pizza like it. It was a pan pizza because it was shaped into a pan inside. It was delicious! It also had me full by the time I finished. My mom also ordered french fries for me and Owen to share. The french fries didn't come with regular ketchup but a different ketchup that the waitress said had more vinegar.

After that Captain Phil the Phillips crab took us to get dessert, ice cream! They even had salt water taffy instead of mints. They also gave me,Owen, and Olivia stuffed crabs and my parents Phillips seasoning, magnets, and notepads to take home. I give **** 1/2 stars for food and ***** (that's 5!)stars for kid friendly. Well, that's all. Bye!
