Phillips Seafood Restaurants not to renew Lease at Harborplace after 31 years

This just in: Phillips Seafood Restaurant has decided not to renew its lease and high-profile location at General Growth Properties' Harborplace.in Baltimore, Maryland, when it expires end of September. The departure will include Phillips Seafood Express (Carry-Out) and Buffet and Dine-In Restauraunt.

Phillips was one of the original tenants of Harborplace when it opened in 1980 and it will leave a lot of vacant, prime space.

Phillips Seafood Restaurant has been at Inner Harbor for 31 years and is exploring options in downtown. They are committed to staying in Baltimore so be sure, Ms. Shirley's crabcakes are not leaving Charm City!

Well, when one door closes, another opens! Phillips is opening a new restaurant in the very busy Newark International Airport in Newark, New Jersey by month's end!

And did you know about their new Ocean City, MD concept, BOMBORA Restaurant?  BOMBORA Restaurant, located in the Beach Plaza Hotel, Ocean City, MD, is Chef Arturo Paz’ newest concept after creating high-end, celebrity-driven restaurants such as Republic in Hollywood, CA and Karu-Y in Miami, FL. Diners enjoy its vivid flavors, inspiring presentations, and panoramic oceanfront views abound in this new Ocean City, Maryland hotspot.

Stay tuned once the ink is done we were promised a nibble on the location. We have our strong guesses.
