Congratulations! Alonso’s to Receive Delivery of 70 Pounds of OLD BAY for Winning-“Taste of Baytriotism” Restaurant Promotion Roland Park restaurant, Alonso’s, has been named the winner of OLD BAY’s first “Taste of Baytriotism” restaurant promotion and will receive 70 pounds of the favorite seasoning on July 25 at 10:30 a.m. More than 35 restaurants across Baltimore and Annapolis competed in the promotion spotlighting Maryland’s favorite flavor from June 22 – 30. With fierce competition, Alonso’s wowed the judges with innovative menu items such as bacon-wrapped oysters with OLD BAY butter, “Peachy Keen” crab cakes and OLD BAY chocolate ice cream. Chef Sebastian Trossback created Alonso’s OLD BAY-focused menu and will be on hand to help unload the delivery. Seventy (one-pound) cans of OLD BAY will be presented to the restaurant in honor of the seasoning’s 70 years. Alonso’s will also receive an award to display in the restaurant.

Alonso’s was selected by a panel of OLD BAY experts and Rob Kasper, retired Baltimore Sun food and features columnist.
