Heritage Fire is bringing the heat to Napa Valley August 20

I first learned about Cochon 555, now, Heritage Fire, at the Aspen Food & Wine Festival in 2011. And the event, now known as  Heritage Fire, grows every year in size and talent. and has developed into one the nation’s preeminent food events with its national tour.  The foodie event is a celebration of culinary ingenuity, mixed with a passion for social responsibility and awareness for the last 13 years.

 

 Heritage Fire competition gathers renowned chefs from across the country creating dynamic tasting menus that highlight the importance of food sustainability and sourcing local. The food fest strive towards a true Farm to Table experience for both chefs and lucky ticket holders. And, America’s beloved, live-fire culinary experience is returning to Napa Valley to showcase pasture diversity and family farming. The Heritage Fire Napa Valley will be held at Charles Krug Winery on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 4PM for VIP entrance and 4:45PM for general admission until 7PM.

 

An all-star cast of top chefs will be on-site dishing up delicious bites prepared over live fire. Participating chefs include some of the best of the best and include from the North Bay Area, amongst others. The list is quite an impressive bunch:

Seen left: Chef John Valenton and Chef Chris Cave truly brought the smoke show to Napa 2022, with their smoked and seasoned wagyu picanha and St. Louis pork ribs. Following their passion for flavor and quality, the Mac BBQ team sourced their protein from Papa Wagyu and TREX.

 

the format is simple, after indulging in each dish, attendees will vote for the ‘Best Bite of the Day’, resulting in one chef being crowned the ‘Heritage Hero’ of Napa Valley. Get your tickets here. Adults over 21 only.
