The Brigance Brigade Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to equip, encourage, and empower people living with ALS, created by former NFL player O.J. Brigance and his wife Chanda, today announced that registration is now open for the 6th annual 5.7K Championship Race & 1.57 Mile Family Run/Walk.

New this year, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, the Official Food and Beverage Sponsor of the 5.7K Championship Event, will provide a build-your-own brunch bar for participants, as well as a beer and champagne tent, at an added cost. The brunch tent will be housed in the event’s Celebration Village, held in Canton Waterfront Park, which will also include a Kids’ Fun Zone, music, harbor views and more.

Early bird registration fees are currently in effect for the 5.7K run ($35) and the 1.57 mile run/walk ($30) through March 31, 2019. The Kids’ Fun Run costs $10 per child to enter. 1.57 mile and 5.7K finishers will receive a race shirt, 5.7K finishers will also receive a commemorative race medal. Anyone who would like to support the 5.7K Championship Event but cannot be in Baltimore on race day will have the opportunity to sign up as a Virtual Racer ($40). Virtual racers can run or walk whenever and wherever is convenient for them and receive a race t-shirt and medal.
