Rackhouse Bakers [1] prides itself on infusing its baked goods with Maryland products. Their mission is to "make foods better by infusing it with their home state brands and flavors. The latest is an authentic spirit infused whiskey cake made using locally source Sagamore Spirit's Rye Whiskey. Both the cake's glaze, mixed with local honey and cake are infused with Sagamore Spirit Rye whiskey.
They sell currently, three products: 3" whiskey cakes, miniature whiskey cakes and spiked honey straws [2]. All are available online and in a number of specialty food stores like Rooster & Hen Store [3] in Catonsville, MD and Asseteague Island Surf Shop in Berlin, MD.
