National Harbor announced today that it will host the Carhartt Fashion Show on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m. on the waterfront plaza at National Harbor. The event will benefit Hero Dogs, a 501(c)3 organization in Maryland that raises, trains and places service dogs with veterans—at no cost to the veteran. Hero Dogs will be on hand with some of their dogs in-training and some of the organization’s dog handlers and their children will model Carhartt fashions. Markette Sheppard, with WUSA9’s Great Day Washington, will emcee the event. Dogs and handlers will be available before and after the show to meet attendees. Anyone donating a minimum of $10 to Hero Dogs will receive a free signature Carhartt hat.
