Class will focus on simple tips to buying and preparing fresh hard shell crabs, soft shells, and crabmeat, highlighting some unique tastes and textures while keeping prep time low and simple recipes that help the host to be able to entertain and not have to cook all night. Enjoy a 4-course tasting menu after the discussion. Menu: Tempura Style Softshell Crab Section with Grapefruit Salad, Lemon Basil Aioli Crab Fritters with Spicy Remoulade and Jicama Salad Snow Crab Crepes with Lemon Beurre Blanc Roasted Potatoes and Beets Chocolate Creme Brulee with Strawberry Puree & Vanilla Cream Specially priced flights and ½ priced bottles of wine, as well as happy hour priced specialty cocktails will be available (at your own expense).
