Nationwide, consumer demand for local food is robust and growing: the number of farmers’ markets has skyrocketed, CSA programs are on the rise, and restaurants, retailers, and institutions are seeking to source locally. But how do we efficiently and effectively connect small and mid-size farmers to large consumers like schools, hospitals, retailers, and restaurants? What will it take to transform our food system into one that delivers healthy, sustainable, affordable food for all?

 

Glen’s Garden Market and Local Food Hub are partnering to answer this question at an upcoming event. Details follow below.
