Teams of Baltimore architects, engineers, contractors, designers and students will march into the White Marsh Mall prepared to create masterpieces for the AIA Baltimore 2012 CANstruction design competition.
After the competition is over, all of the canned food is donated to The Maryland Food Bank and other emergency feeding programs in the community to help those in need of food assistance.

CANstruction, is a charity that is committed to ending hunger, is using one can as a catalyst for change. In Maryland, over 516,000 people live below the poverty line, 150,000 of which are children. CANstruction brings attention to hunger, while showcasing the Baltimore design community’s best and brightest.
