Enhancing its Sunday NFL Game Day Experience, Grotto Pizza will feature a meet & greet with Jack Gilden, author of the new book, Collision of Wills: Johnny Unitas, Don Shula and the Rise of the Modern NFL.

Astounded by the fact that the greatest quarterback and the winningest coach in NFL history did not get along, Gilden set out to discover how two people who did not care for one another could manage such successful and intertwined careers.

The book will be available for purchase during this event, which takes place on the weekend that holiday shopping kicks off. It’s also on a day when Grotto Pizza guests can watch a full-day’s schedule of NFL games including the Ravens-Raiders and the Colts-Dolphins: two teams Shula used to coach.

Grotto Pizza features 18 TVs in the bar area with NFL Sunday Ticket access. Adding to the fun, guests can enjoy specials, the game day menu and Pigskin Pick’Em Contest with over $600 in weekly prizes.

With 24 locations throughout Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania, Grotto Pizza is a family casual dining restaurant that specializes in award winning pizza and hospitality. The full menu includes pizza, pasta, sandwiches, subs, appetizers, salads, beer, wine, cocktails and Grotto Gelato.

Its Columbia restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. For more information, visit www.grottopizza.com or the restaurant’s Facebook and Twitter pages at GrottoPizzaDE.
