Annapolis Food and Wine Festival 2012

The date for The Annapolis Food and Wine Festival 2012 has been announced for March 10, 2012. This premier event will be the hottest ticket in the City Dock area of downtown Annapolis, featuring wine and food tastings at The Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel, "Sip and Stroll" at local downtown restaurants, and An Intimate Date with the Chef series.  


The highlight of the festival is the Chesapeake Ballroom Tasting Event, taking place all day Saturday in the ballroom of The Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel. In cooperation with Southern Wine and Spirits, a variety of wines to suit every palate will be served at this "indoor wine festival" where guests are encouraged to move between wine stations while tasting their favorite samples of food.  Some of the finest Annapolitan restaurants will prepare and serve samples of their culinary creations, many of which incorporate local cuisine.  

With "Sip and Stroll," attendees can experience the cuisine of participating restaurants amidst their own setting.  Pre-registration is required with a limited number of tickets available.

Additionally, The Annapolis Food and Wine Festival is a fantastic way to sample the cuisine of the fine restaurants of downtown Annapolis in An Intimate Date with the Chef series.   Foodies as well as those who simply appreciate fine dining can indulge in an intimate dinner prepared and presented by a world-class chef or enjoy an early morning brunch or lunch overlooking the pristine waters at Ego Alley of downtown Annapolis.  There will be something for everyone at The Annapolis Food and Wine Festival.
