Welcome to Bastille. We are an example of a classic French restaurant. Our cuisine draws its inspiration form the rhythm of the seasons. At Bastille, we strive to use only local. seasonal and organic produce and meats. We try to keep our dishes in harmony with the region in which we live and also with an eye on the past.

Bastille is classical, yet progressive. French cooking, which to us, is the very heart of great cooking has evolved greatly since our grandparents time. The menus of Bastille offer a wide variety of items to please any palate. We have terrific vegetable dishes (as our produce is brought to us straight form the local farms); we also offer the virtual tour de force of meats and fish. Fresh Amish chickens, locally raised (both sustainable and humane) pork and beef from local Virginia farms, as well as the best bounty from the sea (often still alive upon arrival at our doors!)
