At Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park, 10 miles SW of the hotel , visitors can see bears, otters, cougars, bobcats and of course, the famous manatees hovering about the spring-fed waters. The town of Crystal River, 10 miles to the west, offers several manatee tours about its abundant springs and also features old-Florida incredibly scenic waterfront restaurants like Charlie®s Fish House and Peck®s Old Port Cove.
