Situated on the prestigious West Cliff - The Wessex is one of the leading hotels in Bournemouth and a warm welcome always awaits you with our team of friendly and professional staff. We offer 109 en-suite bedrooms - all individually decorated and offering sky TV - tea and coffee making facilities - trouser press and a hairdryer. We are also pleased to feature 24 new premier rooms with additional facilities such as king size beds - fridges and showers and baths. The hotel houses a luxurious leisure club which includes an indoor and outdoor pool - sauna and steam room and a well-equipped gym. The leisure club also offers a full programme of classes in our dance and fitness studio - including aerobics - tap - body pump - step and aqua aerobics. A total refurbishment of the bar - lounge and reception area was completed in February 2006. The hotel also offers 2 locally renowned restaurants - one Italian and the other serving a range of local and international dishes - and there is a large spacious lounge and bar area serving 24-hour drinks and snacks to residents. In the summer months - July and August - family entertainment is offered. There is free car parking for up to 160 cars and the hotel is in easy walking distance of the town centre and beach.From 1st July all Forestdale Hotels will become completely no smoking - including the bedrooms - when the Smokefree England legislation comes into force. We believe that providing a smoke-free environment will enhance the well-being and comfort of our guests and employees. |
