Cross over bridge, go straight ahead to the third stoplight, East Broad Street. Turn right, follow East Broad Street through Westfield Business Center. At the third stoplight, turn left onto North Avenue and the Best Western Westfield Inn is on the right. ·From: Route 22 eastbound. Exit Route 22, immediately after Snuffy's Pantagis Restaurant onto Park Avenue. Turn left at the fourth light onto Midway Avenue. Continue on Midway Avenue through the second traffic light as the street turns into North Avenue. The Best Western Westfield Inn is on the right. ·From: Route 78 westbound. Take Exit 41, turn right at the end of the ramp. Proceed to stop sign and turn right onto Plainfield Avenue. At the second light turn right and continue over the bridge. Bear right on Park Avenue. Chez Catherine is graciously operated by its owners, Catherine Alexandrou-Bourdeaux and Michel Bordeaux. A husband and wife team of culinary notoriety, Catherine and Michel have won favor with Zagat as offering "great classic French food plus lovely service." Michel is president of the Vatel Club and a member of the international Maitre Cuisinier De France. Catherine is the first woman inducted in the Academie Culinaire de France and a member of the prestigious Le Dames D'Escoffier. Together their talents create an experience that is "polished and surefooted, without a trace of stuffiness." This review in New Jersey Monthly goes on to say: We also thought hotel food meant blah food - rubber chicken serviced in the ballroom; weak, tepid coffee from room service.
