The Cairns Colonial Club Resort is located on 11 acres of award winning lush tropical gardens, with 345 rooms, 3 lagoon style pools, spa, 3 restaurants and 4 bars, fitness centre and purpose built Conference Centre. From the Cairns Colonial Club Resort the rest of the Tropical North is your oyster. Whether you've booked your tours from the tour desk on site or have already prebooked tours as part of your holiday package, all tour operators will collect you from the main resort reception daily and return you at the end of your wonderful, exciting and tiring day. If you just want to relax when you get back, you can buy light snacks or dinner from the one of the Resort's restaurants or Resort Shop, which is also great for souvenirs and those little holiday indulgences. The 3 restaurants onsite are the Homestead Restaurant, Jardines Restaurant and Poolside Cafe and Bar. The Homestead Restaurant is open daily from 6:00am to 10:00am daily for Breakfast and from 5:30pm for dinner. You are more than welcome to come in, sit back and relax in the lounge bar for a drink before being seated for dinner. Jardines Restaurant is the Resort's fine dining restaurant and is open from 6:30pm Tuesday through to Saturday. Located in the Conference Centre, Jardines Restaurant is perfect for that quiet dinner overlooking the lush tropical gardens with the night insects playing softly in the background. The versatile Studio Rooms are set up with limited kitchen facilities. Each room features a main bedroom with bathroom adjacent and can be separated from the lounge/dining area. These rooms are ideal for triple and quad share. Directions |

From either the Cairns International or Cairns Domestic Airport turn onto Airport Drive and continue until you reach the traffic lights. At these traffic lights you need to turn left onto Sheridan Street. At the traffic lights at Greenslopes Street (Seafood market on the left corner) turn right. Go through the roundabout and then turn left into McNamara Street. Travel down this street and take the second right into Cannon Street.
Depart the Cairns Colonial Club Resort and at the end of Cannon Street turn left into McNamara Street. Travel down McNamara Street and when you get to the McNamara and Greenslopes Street intersection turn right. Travel down Greenslopes Street until you get to the Greenslopes and Sheridan Street intersection, turn left. You are now on Sheridan Street which changes into the Captain Cook Highway. You are able to following this road through to Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation or turn off to go to the Atherton Tablelands.
Depart the Cairns Colonial Club Resort and at the end of Cannon Street turn right into McNamara Street. Travel down McNamara Street and when you get to the Anderson Street intersection turn left. Travel down Anderson Street and at the Anderson Street and Pease Street lights continue to go straight. Follow this road through to Mulgrave Road and at the lights where Pease Street and Mulgrave Road meet turn right. This road will continue to travel south and take you out of Cairns.

Breakfast is an all you can eat buffet, with the choice of a tropical continental or a fully cooked breakfast, and offers one of the most extensive buffet selections in town. The Homestead Restaurant is a great venue for dinner outside on the undercover patio, with an extensive a la carte menu available 7 days a week. The restaurant is also ideally suited to cater for groups, with a variety of set menus available upon request. Hours of Operation: 6:00am - 10:00am daily for Breakfast and 5:30pm nightly for dinner. Located on the first floor of our beautiful Conference Centre, Jardines ambience reflects the colonial heritage of Australia's pioneer days. The beautiful silky oak grand staircase leads to a romantic setting with the elegance and charm of yesteryear. Nestled overlooking our very own private rainforest garden, and featuring high back carver chairs, an ornate open timber bar, brass fittings, and traditional tongue and groove timberwork, the setting embraces our far north tropical lifestyle. Seating is available either inside in air-conditioned comfort, or on the wide verandah overlooking our tropical rainforest. Jardines offers elegant, tropical dining in a casual and relaxed atmosphere, and is open nightly for dinner. Our award winning Chef has created a tantalizing menu to satisfy a variety of palates, and with a wine list to suit, Jardines is certainly a dining experience guaranteed to impress and not to be missed.
