The Ivy Baltimore Boutique Hotel

Built in 1889 as a private home, this Gilded Age mansion has aged gracefully as each owner passed her gently to the next. We would be delighted to share a piece of rich Baltimore history and beauty with you.

Mount Vernon, just north of downtown Baltimore, is one of the city’s oldest and prestigious neighborhoods, built around the original 1815 Washington Monument and four gem-like parks. A National Historic District and the Baltimore City Cultural district, Mount Vernon is renowned for its architecture, museums and universities. It’s also home to The Ivy Hotel. The Ivy Hotel is located less than 25 minutes away from the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. We are easily accessible via the Jones Falls Expressway (Interstate 83), and also convenient to visitors traveling by rail. Our private car will come and collect you at the station.
