Ocean City is gaining a new flavor, a new chef and a new soon-to-be hotspot, BOMBORA. Located in Beach Plaza Hotel, Ocean City, MD, BOMBORA is Chef Arturo Paz’s newest concept focus' on something near and dear to him, Latin Fusion. After creating high-end, celebrity-driven restaurants such as Republic in Hollywood, CA and Karu-Y in Miami, FL, Chef Arturo invites his guests to experience "Vivid flavors…Inspiring presentations…Panoramic oceanfront views."
Some appetizers described on their menu sound sumptuous:
THAI GREEN CURRY SPIKED TUNA TARTAR served with wonton chips & pea shoots
CALAMARI TWO WAYS
1. Cornmeal crusted, with sweet thai chili sauce
2. Grilled miso marinated, with arugula salad
SOUR ORANGE MARINATED SKIRT STEAK-chimichurri & maduros
MINCED CASHEW CHICKEN-iceberg lettuce cups, Asian plum sauce
There also will be flat breads, salads and large plates with a Latin flare like Mojo.
For dessert, in keeping with an Eastern Shore tradition, the menu includes the famed SMITH ISLAND CAKE!
The restaurant is preparing its bar and lounge for an extensive menu of innovative cocktails and craft beers. A VIP opening is planned in the next two weeks. Free parking will be offered on site.
