Great Family Restaurants in Ocean City. Well I visited 2 great restaurants this week that I would like to recommend to everyone when you come to the beach.
The first is my personal favorite Bull on The Beach. Whether you’re on the boardwalk around 2nd Street, in North Ocean City at around 94th St. or in West Ocean City on Route 50, there is a Bull on The Beach location close by. If you’re in the mood for a great Pit Beef sandwich, Bull on the Beach is famous for them. There is something on the menu for everyone and they also have carry out if you’re on the go.

Reasonably priced family dinners including seafood, steaks, and ribs are also on the menu and come highly recommended. Looking for a great Raw Bar? Bull on the Beach has the best. Mussels, Oysters and Clams are all on special from 3pm-6pm daily. If you’re in the mood for a great Happy Hour, try out the bar side of the restaurant where Happy Hour occurs 3-6pm daily. Drink specials, food specials and great bartenders will certainly make your time at the Bull happy.
The staff at the Bull is one of the friendliest and most well trained staffs I have seen in Ocean City so check out “The Bull” the next time you’re in town for a great family atmosphere and reasonably priced lunch and dinner.
The second place I tried out this week was The Blue Ox Steakhouse located at 126th. The Blue Ox has redone their menu this year and they have some of the best sandwiches at the beach. Everything from design your own grilled cheese to awesome 10oz. burgers and hand cut fries you will not be disappointed. In the mood for a Panini? The have 5 different kinds as well as cheeseburger, chicken and cheesesteak sliders.
Entrees include steak, seafood, chops and pasta. With such an array of menu choices, everyone in the family will find something they want. Make sure you leave room for dessert. The Blue Ox has several different kinds of “Smith Island” cakes and they just melt in your mouth. In the mood for Ice Cream or a Milkshake? The Blue Ox has it all. With a friendly atmosphere and well decorated dining room, the entire family will enjoy a trip to The Blue Ox.
