The Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore’s Summer Social Series is returning to West Shore Park this summer to offer FREE entertainment on the Waterfront. Summer Socials will kick off on Friday, May 10 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and will continue through August with one Summer Social taking place each month. With live music performed by local bands, cold beverages, food trucks, a Waterfront Kids play area and the Walter Sondheim Interactive Fountain, these socials offer something for everyone and are free to attend!

Culinary Master

McCormick World of Flavors is kicking off its Cooking Classes with Grilling.  Hosted this month by Chef Gabby Quintana, this 1-1/2 hour class includes a cooking demonstration with chef-worthy insider tips, generous samples of featured dishes and printed recipes to take home.  Class size is small so there'll be plenty of time for questions.

The community is invited to join Beth Am Synagogue in the serene, natural setting of the Waterfowl Pavilion at the Maryland Zoo to welcome Shabbat with music and song led by Rabbi Daniel Cotzin Burg, Cantor Ira Greenstein and guest musicians.  Services will be held on Friday night August 9.  The event begins at 6 pm with a BYO dairy or fish dinner.  An activity is scheduled at 6:40 pm for families with young children, 9 and under.  Services begin at 7 pm.  The event is free.  Call 410-523-2446 or email Office1@bethambaltimore.org to RSVP.

The Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation will host Reflections and Predictions with Ken Singleton: The O’s and Yankees on Friday, June 28 at 3 p.m. at Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards. Singleton will discuss the Yankees & O’s rivalry, share his predictions on the AL East, and take a look back at the ‘83 Orioles in light of the 30th anniversary of the World Series Champions team.
