Best 1/2 and 1/2 in the city (half grapefruit half orange crush). Also the BEST caesar salad! Seriously, if you are a caesar salad lover like me, you've got to try one at mama's. It can sometimes come a little bit over-dressed but it's still delicious. Try it with a blackened salmon filet. Delish! This place is ALWAYS crowded, but that just proves how good it is :) Other favorites are the grilled oysters, mussels in cajun butter sauce (i think the beer mussels are overrated), and tournedos. Simple, delicious food.

We ate at Mama's yesterday on a gorgeous Saturday! We had the amazing seafood chowder first. I order this soup every chance I get. Then we had a salmon BLT which was cooked perfectly and a seafood pizza with huge mounds of crab, shrimp and cheese. Topped all that great food off with a refreshing Orange Crush. We recommend Mama's for lunch or dinner...BTW, the service was fantastic too!

Okay, the oysters rock. We know this. And, the steamers are killer, too. But did you know Mama's makes a mean Filet (Mignon)? Four ways, actually - with Brandy Cream sauce, Blue cheese crusted, wrapped with applewood bacon topped with Bearnaise sauce or topped with lobster imperial, crab imperial or crab dip. We also love the shrimp salad and think they at the top of the list for best mac 'n cheese in the city. Oh, and the Brunch, it's great, too!
