Joe Squared Pizza-Power Plant Live!- Since its inception five years ago, critics and customers alike have praised Joe Squared for its distinctive square, thin-crust pizza baked in a coal-fired oven – the first such oven in Maryland. Beyond winning multiple “Best of Baltimore” awards from the Baltimore City Paper, the restaurant has been featured in The New York Times, Air Tran Magazine and The Food Network, with its “Flag” pizza recently voted “Best Pizza” in Maryland by Food Network Magazine in its search for the 50 best pizzas in the United States. The magazine described Joe Squared as such: “Eating at this alterna-pizzeria is a full-blown sensory experience, with live music, art exhibitions and the main attraction: square, thin-crust sourdough pizza, often topped with ingredients from a nearby greenhouse…” Joe Squared continues its tradition of hosting free music, showcasing blues, folk, funk, soul, rock and indie acts, and will exhibit original art work from regional talent at quarterly art shows--that's the same great food, drinks, free music, eclectic art shows and welcoming atmosphere that made its flagship Station North location so popular. \

Joe Squared @ Power Plant Live! is now offering weekly specials. In addition to creative new pizza combinations (chicken & avocado; mashed potato & bacon...) the weekly specials menu includes soups, potato skins, risottos, and wings - all unique combinations featuring fresh, local and seasonal ingredients (like pumpkin & ginger soup just in time for fall). And the specials menu at Power Plant Live! is completely different than the Station North location. Both are posted on the Joe Squared website each Friday so be sure to check them out! http://www.joesquared.com/powerplant/
