Developed by Oscar-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri and experienced restaurateurs Sergio and Alessandro Vitale of Baltimore's Aldo's, Chazz: A Bronx Original redefines the Italian American culinary experience.
Located in Baltimore's Harbor East, Chazz takes diners on a trip down Arthur Avenue, the main culinary thoroughfare of the Bronx, and provides one-of-a-kind "Bronx-style" pizza baked in a coal-fired oven, homemade Italian American specialties and an unprecedented bar program including hand-crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list.
Designed by Rita St. Clair Associates, Inc., the restaurant visits scenes from Palminteri's "A Bronx Tale," including Arthur Avenue; the main bar and gathering place from the film; and the elevated train platform, one of only a few left in New York. Guests can sit at the "Pizza Altar" to watch pizzas being prepared and baked to order in the coal oven or enjoy one of several dining rooms, each with its own Bronx personality
Chazz supports environmental responsibility by using high-quality, eco-friendly products, ingredients and practices. Some of the restaurant's green initiatives include reforested coal to fuel the coal oven; an in-house water purification system to eliminate the use of bottled water; menus and collateral printed on post-consumer recycled materials and FURTHERTM hand soap created with eco-friendly ingredients.

NOT IMPRESSED. I'm not sure
NOT IMPRESSED. I'm not sure if we just ordered the wrong things, because I know a lot of people who have been and said they really enjoyed it, however I highly disagree. My favorite amongst what we ordered was the fresh mozzarella, which is not hard to mess up. It's a shame because the space is beautiful and it has a great concept. Maybe they just need to work out some kinks since they are still brand new. I will consider visiting a second time to see if anything has improved. I also got the idea from the bartenders that they were not happy working there, which showed in the service we received.
