Baltimore is a very beautiful city and it has some nice hotels where you can enjoy a beautiful vacation. It just happens that me and my husband have spent on weekend at this hotel and I have nothing but positive words about it. The hotel is clean, has classic design, but the technology of the 21st century is present although sometimes you might think it's not there. The staff is warm and friendly and always willing to help with any issue, if there is one.

The Hotel Monaco is our local getaway oasis. The service is impeccable. The rooms are lovely. And the tub is awesome! We're looking forward to our next visit.

To be honest my only ideas about Baltimore came from The Wire, so it's nice to read about a hotel such as yours offering nicely appointed rooms for a fair price. Makes me rethink my travel plans in Maryland.

Before dinner at the B&O Brasserie I went upstairs to take a peak around Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco. Large open lobby that keeps with the original theme of the buildings former life as the B&O railroads administrative offices. Was immediately greeted and asked if I would care for a glass of wine. Other guests were sitting around the large fireplace chatting (which I imagine would be popular in the colder months). Even better….when you check in you receive a complimentary “raid the minibar” coupon. Two thumbs up to Hotel Monaco on the stellar job.

We loved it and I paid for my room with the special they had going at the time, so I know that I got a ‘typical’ room, so I speak from an actual experience as a guest. The room appointments are unique, the bathrooms VERY lovely and the lobby areas on each floor are quite stunning. I personally appreciate Monaco hotels and their decorating sensibilities so I would highly recommend. Did I mention my 2 dogs stayed also and had a special time too. A very accomodating Baltimore dog-friendly hotel as well. We also loved the cocktails in the B&O Hotel Restaurant Bar.
