Japan supporters abound.

Japan is top-of-mind for most of the world. Here are 2 ways to help. Please share others and #Pray for Japan.

A local South Baltimore sushi restaurant is also supporting its home country. Japanese-born, Bill Tien shares with us that his restaurant, Matsuri, is partnering with the America Red Cross to send donations to Japan in in response to the recent disasters. On Wednesday, March 23, 2011 all proceeds from Matsuri will be sent via the Red Cross to aid in the recovery effort for Japan. You can help now by donating online Or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation by phone. We will also have a donation box in our store for those who would like to donate anonymously. Here is a link to his fund http://matsurirestaurantandcatering.blogspot.com/

Directly from Ms. Lisa Shenkle-"In case you do not subscribe to FUROCIOUS, my dog blog at www.baltimorestyle.com, today – March 17 - is a special day, one dedicated to saving the lives of displaced, homeless and injured pets/animals in Japan. As part of a national blog hop, FUROCIOUS has written this blog dedicated to the people and their pets of Japan in an effort to encourage donations to the World Vets organization.

Please read on to find out more about World Vets and see a video posted with many animal images coming out of Japan, including search and rescue teams from the U.S."

Read all about it in the Style Magazine article- if you see Lisa, ask for her great new poochy business card.
